The first of five supercars stolen from a Norfolk airfield has been recovered by police.

A gang nabbed the supercars - including a Lamborghini and a Porsche - in an overnight raid at Tibenham Airfield where they were being kept for driving experience days last Saturday.

Now police have announced that one of the five missing cars, the VW Golf, was found yesterday evening in Suffolk.

All the cars are very recognisable with the Mercedes having distinct orange and black paint work and the now-found VW having a custom Sale Sharks Rugby team livery.

There were also reports of all the cars being driven in convoy southwards down the A11 and M11 a short while after the heist and later the Lamborghini and another sports car being driven "erratically" on the A505 near Baldock, in Hertfordshire.
