A family business that has been selling caravans and motorhomes for more than 50 years will close at the end of the month, with the property portfolio up for grabs.
The Greentree family announced today that Greentrees Caravanstore in Dereham will permanently close on October 31.
The business was founded by former BBC Radio Norfolk presenter Keith Greentree in 1971 before being handed over to his sons Neil and Justyn in 1996.
Earlier in the year, after deciding to retire, the brothers looked into selling the business but were unable to find any interested parties willing to uphold the family's standard of commitments to their staff and customers.

Neil Greentree said: “Myself and my brother Justyn are immensely proud of
the company we have built up together and the levels of service we have provided
over the years.
"But after 55 years in the business, the family are looking to retire and pursue new interests.
"Being an entrepreneurial family I’m sure we will continue to be around the caravan scene in Norfolk in the future but in a more supportive role rather than being
‘on the coal face'."
The company says it has contacted its customers about the decision and will honour all of its existing commitments on warranties, used caravans and service plans.
Justyn Greentree added: “We are sure our customers will be completely satisfied with the solutions we will offer and our ethical approach to the closure of the business.
"We would like to thank all of our partners over the years, our remarkable staff, and most importantly, the customers we have served over the last 53 years."
Greentrees says it will be offering full support to the 14 staff members impacted by the closure to ensure they find employment moving forward.
The brothers plan to lease or sell their premises portfolio, including the two-acre
depot which runs alongside the A47.
