A two-day 1940s event on a heritage railway will return in 2025 as the dates are announced.

Steam Back to the Forties took place last weekend along the North Norfolk Railway.

More than 5,000 passengers travelled on historic steam trains along the 5.5-mile Poppy Line between Sheringham, Weybourne and Holt.

Graham Hukins, general manager of the North Norfolk Railway, said: "We are very proud to play a key role in this weekend and indeed in the tourism economy of the area all year round.

We are delighted that the Sheringham Carnival Association and traders again staged a series of events and activities to entertain and attract visitors and ensure the event benefited local businesses.”

The 2025 Steam Back to the Forties event will take place on September 20 and 21.
