The best Parkruns in the UK have been revealed with one route in Norfolk making the cut.
Lucy Waterlow, author of The Ultimate Guide to Parkrun, has included Sheringham Park as one of the top 10 events in the country.
The qualified athletics coach said: "There are so many scenic Parkruns around the UK, it was difficult to narrow it down to a top 10.
“The ones I have chosen are all in beautiful and or unique locations where you can take in some amazing sights while park running.”
Sheringham Park, which came in tenth place, was picked as the “route passes through a beautiful pine forest which is abundant with blossoming rhododendrons”.
The run offers participants views of the North Sea and runners may even spot a steam train travelling on the Poppy Line.
Fountains Abbey in North Yorkshire was named the best Parkrun in the UK with Bushy in west London and Severn Bridge in Wales completing the top three.
The Ultimate Guide to Parkrun will be available in paperback and ebook formats from September 26.
