Several emergency services attended a search and rescue incident in Great Yarmouth.
Police, coastguard and the fire service sped to an incident near the town hall, on Wednesday 18 September,
Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service reported that a fire crew with appliances attended Haven Bridge to assist the ambulance just before 6.15pm.
A spokesman for the Norfolk Coastguard said: "We attended a search and rescue operation in Great Yarmouth but cannot comment on further specifics at this time."
Eyewitnesses report someone was taken away from the scene by lifeboat.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We sent an ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and rapid response vehicle.
"One woman was taken to James Paget Hospital for further care."
