Dragonfly Flooring Ltd is a local business that provides flooring solutions to Norfolk residents, landlords and builders. It supplies and fits carpet, vinyl, laminate and luxury vinyl tile (LVT).
Director Marc Brett has worked in the flooring industry for 20 years.
“I started this business with a belief that whether it’s practical, comfortable or simply amazing to look at, a new floor can make a world of difference,” Marc said.
“A quality piece of flooring, laid the right way, can provide that finishing touch that turns a house into a home.
“We have a passion for providing customers with a personal service that takes away the stress and hassle that often comes with the upheaval of new floors,” he added. “I set up Dragonfly Flooring to ensure this high-quality level of service is paramount in all jobs we do.
“We will measure, provide samples customers can look at in their own homes and fit flooring to meet their needs, including moving the furniture and taking away old flooring.”
The business recently opened a new shop in Loddon where customers can talk to the team about their requirements and browse different flooring options.
“We feel it’s important to have a local presence and are aiming to expand this in the future.”
The business has grown quickly. After starting as an independent venture headed up by Marc, now the company has a growing team of fitters servicing the local community.
Marc said that staff development is a priority at Dragonfly Flooring.
“We currently have one member of staff who is doing an apprenticeship to achieve his NVQ in floorcoverings,” Marc said. “We’re committed to ensuring those who work with us have the right skills and experience to deliver a high standard of work.”
Marc hopes to grow the reputation of Dragonfly Flooring locally as a reputable company that supplies both domestic and commercial sectors.
“I’d love to increase the size of the business to take on more local fitters,” Marc said. “And we would also love to open another shop – depending on the success of the one we’ve recently opened in Loddon!”
