A south Norfolk road is to be closed temporarily next week as engineers install a new fibre network. 

Norfolk County Council will be closing the C385 Loddon Road from the junction with Church Road for 440m eastwards in Norton Subcourse. 

It will be closed between September 23 to 27.

There is a possible extension until November 8 if needed.

Pedestrians will still have access and vehicles will have access to final destinations where signs permit. 

There is a £1,000 penalty for violation. 

Alternative routes include Norton Road, A146 Loddon Road, B1136 Yarmouth Road, Beccles Road, and The Street in Hales, Loddon, Thurlton, and Raveningham.
