A former care home which had a leaking roof has had the go-ahead to be turned into a house.
West Norfolk council has agreed plans to convert Somerset Villa in Hunstanton.
A planning application on behalf of Evocare Building Services said: "Following a review by the Care Quality Commission Somerset Villa is no longer a registered care home.
"Due to fire regulations and a leaking roof, modifications needed to be undertaken with a complete replacement of the roof."

It said extensive work was needed during which the residents were moved to a sister home located 300 yards away.
And it added: "Unexpected delays in completing these repairs resulted in the CQC removing our registration which now means that the home has non-compliant infrastructure with CQC regulatory requirements."
The application says only four of the building's 12 rooms are above the minimum size of 15sqm.
The Austin Street building could care for up to 16 elderly residents. At the time of its last inspection in March 2021, it was home to nine.
