"I'm a member of a shanty group, and George Ezra came and saw us play at the Jolly Sailors a few weeks before the festival. It was a total surprise and he was very friendly.

"It was even more of a surprise to see him at the festival. He even recorded a video for us telling people to come down.

"George has got a house in the area and his dad comes down a lot. His dad is in a shanty group too, so who knows? Maybe he'll be in next year's line-up."

The festival has no plans to stop anytime soon after its success last weekend.

"This was our third year, and it's getting bigger and bigger every year, and we're only a small village. We must have raised a few thousand for charity this time."
