A bar which sold vodka bought with a stolen bank card will have its licence suspended.
Fenland council reviewed the premises licence of the Delicious Snack Bar in Wisbech after complaints from police.
Officers said licensee Constantino Almeida bought a bottle of vodka for £10 from an offender who had earlier used a stolen bank card to buy it.
They also told the council's licensing committee of other concerns, including CCTV not operating at the premises on Hill Street.
Councillors met this week to carry out a licensing review.
Their ruling, which has now been published, said: "We consider that in order to promote the licensing objectives, the premises licence will be suspended for 28 days commencing in 21 days from today [October 2].
"We remove Mr Almeida as the designated premises supervisor from the licence."
