There are several important public information notices for communities in Norfolk to be aware of this week. 

1. Platinum Lace

Romima (Management) Limited has applied to Norwich City Council for the renewal of a Sex Establishment licence for a Sexual Entertainment Venue.

It relates to the Platinum Lace lap dancing and strip club venue located in Dove Street in Norwich. 

The business applied for the opening hours of 8pm to 3am from Sunday to Friday and from 8pm until 4am on Saturday. 

Anyone wishing to make objections to this application must do so before October 2.

2. Spa at Jarrolds

Plans submitted to Norwich City Council detail that alterations would be made to internal walls to change the use of the second and third floors from offices.

Comments can be made online at the Norwich City Council planning portal.

3. Claims to the estate of John Michael Joseph Reid

Anyone having a claim against or an interest in the estate of  John Michael Joseph Reid of Ivy Court in Norwich, who died on July 25, is asked to send a written notice to the address below on or before November 12.

After this date, the estate will be distributed as per the notices received.

4. New 20mph speed limit zone

Norfolk County Council has applied to introduce a 20mph speed limit along several roads in Watton including Bowes Close, Byfords Way and Dudley Close. 

A copy of the draft order and the reasoning behind the proposal can be viewed online at norfolk.citizenspace.com.

Any objections and representations must be made in writing to the office of nplawl by October 1.

5. Norfolk Coast Path closure

A section of the Norfolk Coast Path is set to close for renovations at the Beeston Bump in Sheringham. 

The popular footpath will close from Monday for nearly two weeks as works to replace the handrails and improve the path surface are carried out. 

Works will be completed to replace the handrails which have started to rot and break and replace missing steps to improve the path surface.

A diversion will be available via the base of Beeston Bump during the work.
