With great power comes great responsibility.
And one North Walsham man is happy to take that responsibility on.
Jordan Rayner is Spiderman - or at least he dresses up as the superhero and wanders around the town.
And the reason he started this bizarre hobby? Just for a "laugh".
"I've been doing it for two years now," the 23-year-old said. "Originally, it was all for a laugh."
But folk in North Walsham are long beyond just laughing at Mr Rayner's super-powered shenanigans.
Rebecca Rowley, 29, invited the not-so-anonymous superhero to open her new store Scrumptious Home Bakes on the North Walsham market last Monday.
Ms Rowley said: "Spiderman supports North Walsham - so having him at the event is my way of supporting other businesses.
"Him being there made it more memorable."

As long as the community continues to support him, Mr Rayner has no plans to stop suiting up and protecting the market town anytime soon.
"I've got so much support from the town and different shops, so I'm driven to just keep on being Spiderman. The community is used to seeing me now," Mr Rayner added.
"People on Facebook even voted for what my suit should look like.
"My favourite memory of the community is when a local band - The Deadbeat Cats - started playing the Spiderman theme song when they saw me. They've promised to do it every time now.
"I want to use my suit for good. I've worked with breast cancer charities and suicide awareness ones. I don't ask to be paid because I'd rather the money they'd pay me go toward their causes."
