A popular campsite on the north Norfolk coast has been given the go-ahead for a permanent extension.
Deepdale Farm at Burnham Deepdale, near Brancaster, has been using a one-hectare field behind its site, known as Parsons Bush, as an overflow campsite for seven years.
Now it has been given planning permission to use it permanently, after saying there was a need for extra pitches at peak times.
In a planning statement, Deepdale farm said: "The effects of the additional pitches for the campsite will be positive throughout the year.
"During the main season, additional visitors will be able to enjoy camping on the north Norfolk coast at peak times, in a low-impact way."
Fourteen supporting comments were posted on West Norfolk Council's planning portal.
One said: "The extra space will provide the opportunity for more people to enjoy the facilities Burnham Deepdale and the surrounding area has to offer."
