Motorists faced long delays on the A47 following a two-vehicle crash.
Police were called to the Acle Straight at 7.41am following reports of a collision on the Great Yarmouth-bound carriageway.
Fire and ambulance crews also attended.
The road was closed for around an hour and drivers reported facing queues of 30 minutes.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service later confirmed one person was taken to the James Paget Hospital for further treatment.
