A man is to stand trial accused of a serious assault on another man outside a bar in Norfolk.
Terry Pitchers, 32,has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
It follows an incident outside Arnie's Bar in Quebec Street, Dereham, on August 10 after which the victim was taken to hospital.
Pitchers, formerly of East End Road, Gooderstone, near King's Lynn, appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Monday (September 9) when he denied the offence.
Judge Andrew Shaw set a trial date of December 15 next year at King's Lynn Crown Court.
Pitchers, who is currently staying at Priory Drove, Great Cressingham, was granted conditional bail.
