Speed limits could be cut in part of Norfolk's swanky Chelsea-on-Sea.
Norfolk County Council wants to reduce the limit from 40mph to 30mph through Burnham Overy Town, next door to Burnham Market.
The proposal would affect divers on the B1155 Overy Road and Wells Road through the village, along with part of Mill Road.
Results of a public consultation, which closed on September 3, are now being reviewed. Responses have not yet been made public.
In a statement regarding the change, the council said: "The aim of this scheme is to reduce vehicular speed and improve user safety along the stretch highway for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians and achieve a good level of speed limit compliance."
Plans to reduce limits on parts of the nearby A149 coast road were scrapped last summer after an outcry from villagers along the route.
