Special trips will mark the 30th anniversary of a locomotive's arrival at a heritage railway.
The North Norfolk Railway, which operates steam and diesel trains between Sheringham and Holt, is celebrating a milestone on Saturday, September 14 2024.
It marks 30 years since the arrival of Class 37 D6732 and it has since become a regular performer on the Poppy Line.

On September 14, the loco will haul five special round trips.
It was first saved in the early 1990s by a small group of railway enthusiasts and the North Norfolk Railway became its home in September 1994.
It arrived at Sheringham and was then taken to the Weybourne engine shed for repairs.
It hauled its first passenger train in August 1996 and after a year as part of the diesel fleet, it was repainted in a green livery.

The loco was withdrawn in 2005 and underwent an extensive overhaul.
It returned to service in 2013 in as near as possible to the condition it was in when it entered mainline service with British Rail at Hull Dairycotes Shed on March 9 1962.
