Josephine Jones, prosecuting, said he was alleged to have continued to kick and punch the man even after he was unconscious.

The incident was captured on CCTV, the court was told.

McCadie, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Riverside Road and is accused of having spat at police officers.

Magistrates said the seriousness of the charges meant they could only be dealt with at Norwich Crown Court.
