A lane in Hingham will close for six days as part of a roadworks project.

Ringers Lane will be blocked from Wednesday, September 18, to Monday, September 23.

This is necessary while Norfolk County Council completes a trial hole excavation to check the quality of the pavement structure and the utilities underneath.

Access to properties will be maintained and a diversion route will be in place for through traffic.

The council said the work should cost £4,000.
