Two bikers killed in a crash on the Acle Straight while riding a stolen motorcycle have been named.
Inquests were opened into deaths of 30-year-old Steven Wilson and 44-year-old Dean Knock on Wednesday.
Both men died on Saturday, August 17, on the A47 at Halvergate.
During the two consecutive hearings, each lasting around a minute, senior coroner Jacqueline Lake confirmed details about the pair.
Mr Wilson, whose inquest was opened first, was born in Watford but lived in Lavengro Road in Norwich, close to Mousehold Health.
Mr Knock, meanwhile, was born in Ipswich but lived in the south Norfolk village of Rockland St Mary, in The Street.
Mrs Lake added that a pathologist had given Mr Wilson's medical cause of death as multiple fatal injuries, including a ruptured heart and multiple fractures.
Mr Knock also died of multiple fatal injuries at the scene, including multiple fractures.
The incident happened close to the Halvergate turn, when the pair were both riding an orange Sinnis motorcycle which was involved in a crash with an Audi TT.
It happened at around 11.40pm on the Friday, but both men were confirmed to have died in the early hours of the Saturday.
Police later confirmed that the motorcycle Mr Wilson and Mr Knock were riding had been reported as stolen from Pottergate in Norwich less than an hour earlier.
The incident saw the main road close for more than 12 hours while police carried out crash scene investigations.
It did not open until just after 1pm on the Saturday.
The driver of the Audi TT was taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries and has since been discharged.
Mrs Lake adjourned the cases for full inquests, which are scheduled to be held on Monday, February 17 next year.
