A former doctors' surgery next to a leafy park is set to be turned into flats.
West Norfolk Council's planning committee has agreed plans to convert the former St James Medical Centre in King's Lynn.
A planning officer's report said the scheme would improve the two-storey building, which is classed as a non-designated heritage asset and stands in a conservation area next to The Walks.
Developer Ruby Circle has been given planning permission to convert the building into 11 one and two-bed flats.
Minimal alterations will be made to the building, on County Court Road.
The practice which operated from the building has moved into a larger and more modern building on Edward Benefer Way on the outskirts of the town.
St James Medical Practice currently has 17,000 patients on its books, but numbers are expected to increase to 20,000 with major developments planned in and around the town.
