A dog described as the “perfect companion” is looking for another chance at happiness after being returned to a rescue centre.
Angel the white lurcher is back at West Norfolk RSPCA after her owner of a few years could no longer look after her.
The charity is now on a mission to find Angel a loving home where she can live out her “twilight years”.
A spokesman for West Norfolk RSPCA said: “Angel quite literally lives up to her name and is just the sweetest and most gentle temperament you could ask for.

“She is an absolute pleasure to be around and especially enjoys sunbathing and a good ear scratch while she does so.”
Angel, who is approximately 10 years old, needs a quiet home with no other pets, a decent-sized garden for pottering and a comfy bed and sofa for cuddling with her new owners.
She can live with children who are in their teens.
Anyone interested in adopting Angel should visit the West Norfolk RSPCA website.
