A Sainsbury's store has been forced to close this morning after part of the roof was damaged.
The supermarket in Attleborough High Street has closed its doors to shoppers for safety reasons.
The damage is reported to be near the entrance of the store due to the heavy rainfall that battered the county last night.
The main entrance is closed with a display board in front of the store announcing the shops closure is for "technical reasons".
A Sainsbury’s spokeswoman said: “Our Attleborough store is temporarily closed while we repair a roof panel which was damaged during the recent extreme weather.
"We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and are working to reopen as soon as possible.”
The adjacent petrol station remains open as usual.
The shop reopened later the same day.
