A man has been in court accused of stabbing a friend with a knife after an argument.
Callum Envis appeared in custody at Norwich Magistrates’ Court following an incident in Great Yarmouth on August 30.
The 38-year-old, of no fixed abode, spoke only to confirm his name and age.
He did not enter pleas to charges of malicious wounding, possession of a bladed article and assaulting an emergency worker.

Josephine Jones, prosecuting, said he had been arrested while walking to the pub after a number of people had allegedly seen him holding a kitchen knife with a three-to-four inch blade.
On the same evening another man was rushed to the James Paget Hospital, following an incident in which he suffered a number of stab wounds.
Magistrates committed the case to Norwich Crown Court after being told malicious wounding was too serious to be heard before them.
They remanded Envis in to remain in prison until a preliminary hearing scheduled for September 30.
Annette Hall, defending, said a bail application may be submitted at a later date.
