Rare vintage radio sets, including one from a Second World War bomber, are to be auctioned off in Fakenham.
James and Sons Auctioneers will present a collection of vintage radios and clocks for auction on their upcoming internet sale on September 3.
The collection includes 200 items, including a vintage HMV portable gramophone from around 1931.
One collectable that is set to steal the limelight is a radio from a Lancaster bomber.
A Marconi R1155, which boasts its own power supply and audio amplifier, is expected to fetch between £200-£300.
The collection has been on display at the James and Sons shop owned by David James, who will also wield the gavel during the auction.
He said: “This is a rare opportunity to bid on, and potentially own, many unique and highly collectable radios and clocks.
"These items are very popular, as they fit in with a retro interior but provide a quality reliable sound.”
Potential bidders can explore the complete listing for the sales running from September 2 through 4 on the company’s website.
The auctions will take place online at the-saleroom.com and easyliveAuction.com, with options for bids to be placed using a form on the website.
