Princes William and Harry "discreetly" attended their uncle's funeral in Norfolk this week.
Their mother's brother-in-law, Lord Fellowes, died in July at the age of 82.
It was previously reported Prince Harry would miss the funeral due to security concerns.
But locals said both he and his brother did attend, sitting separately at the back of the service close to Lord Fellowe's home at St Mary's Church in Snettisham.
One witness said: "William and Harry were both there but we never saw them speak to each other and they were keeping their distance.”

Another added: “I didn’t know they were there. They arrived very discreetly.”
The pair have been feuding since Prince Harry and his wife Meghan stepped back from royal duties and moved to the US in 2020.
His tell-all memoir, Spare, caused a further rift after its release in 2023.
They were last seen together at their father's coronation later that year.
Lord Fellowes was educated at Eton and married Princess Diana's sister, Lady Jane Spencer, in 1978.
He served as Queen Elizabeth II's private secretary for nine years.
