A Norwich man is accused of a stabbing that left a victim with serious injuries.
Danny Bryan, 33, appeared in custody before Norwich Magistrates’ Court to face two charges over an incident at a property on Drayton Road on August 28.
it followed a man suffering serious wounds after being stabbed with shards of a glass jar, the court was told.
Bryan, of Drayton Road, pleaded not guilty to malicious wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.
Magistrates said the offences were too serious for a trial to be heard before them.
They ordered he remain remanded in prison until a preliminary hearing at Norwich Crown Court on September 26.
Emma Lloyd, representing Bryan, said he would not be making a bail application.
