The body of a man has been found in the River Wensum in Norwich.
Police were called to Wensum Park at 6.07pm on Sunday and officers and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service were involved in searches and discovered the body of a man in his 70s.
A police cordon was in place but has now been removed.
Locals reported seeing police cars, a forensic van, fire engines and an ambulance parked along St Martins Road.
The death is not believed to be suspicious but officers are continuing to establish the exact circumstances of his death.
During the last year the park has been at the centre of several incidents.
In December last year, the body of Gaynor Lord was found around 400 metres downstream from Wensum Park after the 55-year-old disappeared.
Earlier this month a man in his 50s was punched by another man at the park and another was arrested after reportedly touching himself in front of a group of women.
