Fire crews were called to a beach over the bank holiday weekend.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a blaze in the grass on the dunes at Hemsby around 5.30pm on Monday. 

Two appliances were sent from Great Yarmouth and firefighters used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

They remained on scene until receiving their stop message just before 6pm.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said the cause of the fire remains unknown.
