A much-loved local garden centre in a north Norfolk village is set to close its doors next month.
Garden Centre Overstrand offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor plants as well as local produce and has a café on site.
Upon announcing its closure on September 20, the centre reduced all its prices by 50pc.
However, according to posts made by the centre on Facebook there have been some problems that meant doors had to be closed early as customers flocked to pick up closing deal bargains.
One post said: “We have made the decision to close the gates to the centre with immediate effect for the rest of the day.

“This will ensure the safety of our staff against members of the public who seem to think its ok to fill trolleys to the brim and then complain about queues to pay and get their cars into the centre.
“A sad state of affairs.
In announcing the centre's closure a statement said: “Our final day of trading will be the 20 September.”
Loyal customers have expressed their sadness over the closure.
