A former doctors' surgery looks set to be turned into flats.
West Norfolk Council's planning committee has been recommended to approve proposals for the St James Medical Centre in King's Lynn.
The practice which operated from the building on County Court Road has moved into a larger and more modern building on Edward Benefer Way.
Developer Ruby Circle has applied for planning permission to change the use of the former building into 11 one and two-bed flats.
A planning officer's report says the scheme will improve the two-storey building, which is classed as a non-designated heritage asset and stands in a conservation area next to The Walks.
It adds minimal external alterations are proposed, including replacement and new windows and doors.
Councillors have been recommended to give it the go-ahead when they meet on Monday, September 2.
