Work to install all new outdoor gym and play equipment at a park in the suburbs has started.
Climbing frames, slides and exercise apparatus are being put in place at Stracey Park in Rackheath, just opposite the pavilion, as part of contributions by local housing developers.
While the land is managed by the council, developers such as Norfolk Homes and Taylor Wimpey must fund a number of projects for the good of the community in order to build more new homes.
A Rackheath Community Council spokesman said: "Due to the numerous bits of equipment, work will be ongoing for a few weeks.

"We will confirm a likely opening date in due course, but we're aiming for it to be ready for the October half-term.
"The usual sporting activities and pavilion hire will continue as usual with no interruption.
"For those who use the field for recreation, the affected space will be securely fenced off so people can keep an eye on the progress of the work as it all comes together."
