A pub at a former RAF base is reopening under new ownership following an £80,000 revamp.
The Diplomat in Badersfield closed in March but will be back open from Saturday after a two-month transformation by new owner and manager Peter Sunca.
A new pub menu, featuring classics such as burgers and fish and chips, will be launched with plans to provide a "relaxed dining atmosphere".
“We’re really excited to open the pub," Mr Sunca said. “It's a new experience for us so we want to get lots of customer feedback to look into how we can improve the space further.

"There's not much else in the area, we haven't got any restaurants, so we really needed a village pub.
“It’s important to have a space like this, whether to meet up with friends or watch a game of football, it’s a good opportunity for people to get out."
The pub, which sits on the former RAF Coltishall site, features a lounge area beside the bar, a function room for private events and a wrap-around pub garden for outdoor activities.
The kitchen has undergone a full refurb and there is a brand-new bar as well as a pool table, darts and four televisions for Sky Sports.

“We want to keep the community spirit alive and there's so much potential here,” Mr Sunca added. “Everyone is welcome and we'd really like to see the community come together."
The launch event from 3pm on Saturday will feature a hog roast, barbeque and live music.
Plans at the site include installing a wood-fired pizza oven, a children's play area and a marquee.
