A convicted domestic abuser attacked a woman and threatened to set fire to her home, just months after being released from prison.
David Rainey, 35, was sentenced to 15 months in April 2023 for a brutal attack that saw him punch a woman’s teeth out.
Following his release, he has now admitted attacking and threatening another woman.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court heard he repeatedly abused and spat at the woman, during a furious row on August 16 that also saw him threaten to burn down her house.
Josephine Jones, prosecuting, said he had followed the woman after she left to go home after a pub crawl in Great Yarmouth. During the event he had taken issue with her offering to buy drinks for other people.
His attack and threats were captured on video footage from a Ring doorbell.
Rainey, of Anson Road in Great Yarmouth, pleaded guilty to assault and asked for an offence of threatening to destroy property to be taken into consideration.
Magistrates warned him that all options, including a return to prison, were open after ordering a pre-sentence report.
He was granted bail until he is sentenced on November 1, with conditions not to contact his victim and not to attend a specified property in Great Yarmouth.

Rainey was found guilty of his previous attack having denied causing grievous bodily harm without intent, causing actual bodily harm and common assault.
It came after police were called to an address in Gorleston-on-sea in October 2022, following a report of a domestic incident.
When officers arrived Rainey had fled the scene. One woman at the address had been assaulted and Rainey had punched a neighbour in the face, resulting in her losing three front teeth.
Following his hailing, Sgt Steven Lee, of Norfolk police, said: “This was a particularly brutal attack on both women and these kinds of incidents can have profound and long-lasting impact as well as the physical damage caused.”
