They are among the largest and most sophisticated boats on the Broads, but from this angle they seem like toy yachts on a pond.
These aerial photographs show river cruisers racing on Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, on the first day of the regatta there.
They were taken by Steve Jones, who said: "The annual sailing regatta on Oulton Broad is off to a fantastic start."
Oulton Week runs from Sunday to Friday and is considered one of the biggest sailing events on the Broads.
It is organised by Waveney & Oulton Broad Yacht Club (WOBYC), with a series of trophies sailed for daily throughout the week.
The club was formed in 1946 and holds the event over six days in August each year.
It features races for keelboats and dinghies as well as river cruisers, with competitors from allo corners of the Broads taking part.
An Oulton Week junior programme is also running throughout the week along with social events in the evenings.
