Two Norfolk-based charities, Amber's Army and Finnbar's Force, will receive £5,000 each from Cadent employees.
Benefiting from a new £20,000 fund, the charities were selected for Cadent's local charity-of-the-year scheme.
Recently introduced as part of Cadent's Community Fund, the money will be shared across Cadent’s East of England network.
Amber’s Army helps families with a terminally ill child, while Finnbar’s Force supports families of children under 18 diagnosed with brain tumours and cancer.
In partnership with employees, fundraising will continue throughout the year for these charities.
Ranjit Blythe, managing director of the Cadent Foundation said: "Earlier this year, employees at Cadent were asked to nominate their favourite charity.
"Each regional network will get a starting pot of £20,000 to split amongst their chosen charities."
Jon Sheehy of Amber’s Army said: “Amber’s Army utilises all donations to help support the ethos of the charity with the costliest element being the creation of memory making experiences."
Tristan Cork, CEO of Finnbar’s Force, said: "Finnbar’s Force are incredibly grateful to be selected as a beneficiary of the 2024 Cadent Foundation Community Fund."
