Three friends from a bereavement support group will each brave a tandem skydive on September 28, to honour their lost loved ones.
David Clarke, Vicky Hook and Dennis Foreman, ranging in age from their 60s to 80s, are members of the Rosedale Funeral Home’s Bereavement Support Group in Shelfanger, near Diss.
The trio were inspired to plan their daring escapade after seeing an advertisement for EACH’s sponsored parachute jump at Beccles Airfield.
The jump enables each participant to raise funds for a charity of their choice.
Mr Clarke will skydive in memory of his wife Valerie, raising money for her favourite charity, EACH.
Ms Hook honours her father by supporting Macmillan, the charity that looked after him.
And Mr Foreman, jumping for The British Heart Foundation, commemorates his wife Pearl.
While the friends admit they have a few nerves, they are spurred on by the chance to raise money and honour lost loved ones.
