A man in his 70s is in serious condition in hospital after his car was hit while he was changing its tyre on the A11.
Just before 10pm on Wednesday, a black VW Passat crashed into a broken-down white Citroen Saxo in lane one of the northbound carriageway near the Stag roundabout at Attleborough.
The man changing the tyre was injured and taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services were at the scene and reopened at around 5.15am on Thursday.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any relevant dashcam footage.
They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the VW Passat’s manner of driving or saw the broken-down Citroen Saxo on the side of the road.
