Fire crews teamed up with a local farmer to tackle a field blaze that was spreading to the edge of a road.

Two fire crews, one from Harleston and another from Loddon, were called to Thwaite Road in Mundham at around 3.55pm on Tuesday.

Black smoke was seen rising from the scene as the flames spread across the wheat field.
