A pre-loved bridal shop has moved to a beautiful barn as it looks to start offering brides a luxury experience.

Zera Knights opened Aime Moi Encore Bridal at St Ann's House, King's Lynn, in November 2021 after years of dreaming of launching her own business.

"When I became engaged and started looking for my own dress, I found it very difficult and overwhelming," the 28-year-old from Terrington St Clement said.

"The prices of dresses were far out of reach and sadly I didn't have great experiences in bridal shops.

"I said to my husband-to-be, 'I wish there was something for brides like me! I don't want to spend thousands but I also want an amazing dress'."

Within a few weeks, she created a business plan and started searching for a venue.

Soon after opening the King's Lynn shop, Mrs Knights already needed a more spacious, self-contained venue where she could make the dress shopping experience even more enjoyable for brides.

She was thrilled to discover the spot at Marham, off Shouldham Road, which is large enough to give her seamstress, Sarah, her own work area, and offer a dress storage service.

Brides can also now enjoy refreshments during their appointments and Mrs Knights plans to roll out new "luxury" appointments including afternoon and cream teas.

The founder shared she was "unbelievably proud" of her achievements", including being named Best Bridal Shop in Norfolk for 2024, and is "incredibly happy" with the barn.

"After lots of stress and unsure times, it has all been worth it and our customers are loving it so far," she added.

The shop is usually only open on a pre-booked one-to-one appointment basis but will welcome people for an open day on September 1.
