An innovative eco-friendly housing development in Norfolk is nearing completion.
This project consists of 60 affordable homes, constructed with advanced methods designed to save on resources and time.
Known as Crown View, the development is located off Attleborough Road in Great Ellingham.
The team behind Crown View, including Flagship Homes and Lovell, funded by Homes England, hope their project will serve as a model for future constructions.
Amanda Crichton, head of sales and marketing at Flagship Homes, said: “It has been a joy to watch the homes at Crown View take shape - the show home is looking fantastic and the interest from prospective purchasers we have already received is a testament to the popularity of the homes in the marketplace.”
Crown View includes 30 affordable rent homes, to be let by Flagship’s housing association, Samphire, to families on local council waiting lists.
The remaining 30 homes are designated for shared ownership, an alternative for people unable to afford a large deposit.

What sets Crown View apart is its eco-friendly construction technique.
Using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), walls, roofs and other components are built in a factory prior to assembly on site.
This method enables quicker construction times and reduced environmental impact.
The homes will be powered by air source heat pumps and solar panels.
Crown View's accessibility is an added attraction, with Great Ellingham near the A11, providing excellent connectivity to Norwich, Thetford, Cambridge and beyond.
The public can visit the site's show home on August 16 between 10am-2pm without a prior appointment.
The address is: 2 Rush Meadow, Great Ellingham, NR17 1ZP.
The development has been shortlisted in the 'best-shared ownership development' category at the Inside Housing Development Awards, the winner of which will be announced September 27.
The project is slated to finish by next spring.
