An air ambulance landed at a beach after two people were rescued from the sea.
Humber Coastguard paged the Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat at 10.40am today after a family of swimmers were caught in the riptide at Sea Palling beach.
The RNLI lifeguards rescued one casualty from the water, with the lifeboat rescuing another.
A third person, who was also seen to be in trouble, was able to make it back to the shore by themselves.
Along with the air ambulance, several land ambulance crews attended the incident.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance confirmed it was called to the beach, but had been stood down.
Two people were transported by road to James Paget University Hospital for further care.
Mark Skerrett from the Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat warned that the beach had an increased risk of rip tides around high tide due to the rock reefs that have been installed to prevent flooding.
