Several recycling centres across Norfolk have announced that they are unable to take trade waste due to a technical issue.
Norfolk Recycles announced this afternoon that due to issues with a key piece of processing equipment, seven tips are currently unable to take trade waste.
The affected centres are Dereham, Caister, Hempton, King’s Lynn, Norwich North, Norwich South and Thetford.
The centres are set to reopen again at 9am on Friday.

In the meantime, traders needing to dispose of waste can use other sites including waste transfer stations and Blackborough End Landfill at West Winch.
All of the recycling centres remain open as usual for household waste.
According to Norfolk County Council, business or trade waste includes waste from commercial or trade businesses, charities, churches, schools, parish councils and other community groups.
Norfolk Recycles is the public-facing brand of the Norfolk Waste Partnership, a partnership of Norfolk’s County, District, Borough and City councils "working together to improve waste and recycling services for Norfolk’s residents and visitors".
