A man has admitted indecent assaults on a child in Norwich dating back more than 40 years.
David Plumridge appeared at Norwich Crown Court having been charged with indecent assaults on a boy which occurred in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
The 65-year-old pleaded guilty to three counts of indecent assault on a male, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, between June 1977 and June 1983 when the victim was aged under 13.
The case was adjourned until September 18 to allow a pre-sentence report to be carried out.
Plumridge, now of Derby, was granted unconditional bail.
Judge Anthony Bate warned Plumridge the granting of bail and a pre-sentence report was no indication as to sentence and said "all options appropriate to the case will be open".
Andrew Thompson appeared for the prosecution and Michael Clare represented Plumridge.
