A Norfolk lake has been named one of the 20 best places to go wild swimming.
Fritton Lake, which sits close to the Suffolk border, was included in the ranking by The Telegraph.
The article said: "Swims here are exclusive to cabin owners, members and holiday guests, which may undermine the spirit of wild swimming somewhat.
"That said, the holiday resort has a lake that’s fit for rural royalty."
It also complemented the spot's "excellent" water quality and the site's "truly inspiring" thousand acre rewilding project that has filled the nearby wildland and forests with a diverse range of species.
This is not the first time Fritton Lake has attracted attention in the national press.
In May, The Guardian named it one of the UK's 10 most tranquil holiday spots, and in 2023, the March Yoga retreat held at Fritton Lake was included in a list of the best yoga retreats in the UK and Ireland for 2023 by Condé Nast Traveller.
It also scooped a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Award in 2022.
