Drivers are facing a 31-mile diversion to get through a village due to a high street closure for roadworks.
The A1122 is closing in Fincham near Downham Market for white lining and surface dressing to be applied.
The closure will run overnight from 7pm until 5am today and again on Wednesday to allow the works to be completed.

The works will take place from the A134 junction in Stradsett through Fincham until the Fincham Road junction in Barton Bendish.
Emergency access will be maintained throughout.
An official 31-mile diversion route will be in place, taking drivers into Bexwell along the A10 to King's Lynn, the A47 to Swaffham and rejoining the A1122 back to the village.
