A Norwich jewellery store has been damaged following a fire which may have been started deliberately.
Emergency services were called to Lower Gate Lane in the city centre at around 2.55am on Sunday to reports of a fire at a commercial building.
Crews found fire coming from the Lisa Angel jewellery shop next to the Elm homeware shop.
Crews used a hose reel jets and thermal imaging to extinguish the fire and the blaze was put out by around 3.10am.
A spokesman for Lisa Angel said that police who attended the scene believe the fire may have been deliberately lit.
They added that no one was hurt during the incident and the damage was limited to the front of the building.
However, they will need to to close the shop until repairs are completed.
Customers are still able to shop at their Chantry Place and Southwold stores, or on their website www.lisaangel.co.uk.
Managing director James Moody was shocked when he received the call about the fire and said he was glad that no one was hurt.
He added: "Our first priority will be to ensure that the site is safe, and then we will be working hard to get repairs completed and open our doors again as soon as possible."
The brand will confirm when the store will reopen via its social media accounts @lisaangeluk.
Norfolk Police have been contacted for more information.
