A couple had a surprise when their baby daughter made an unexpected entrance into the world while in a hospital lift.
Charley Almey was not expecting the arrival of her second child for another week when she began to experience sudden contractions at home.
Her partner, Kyle Hurst, quickly drove her to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and the couple arrived at the reception just 30 minutes later.
But the contractions were already very close together and knowing the baby was on its way, Ms Almey called out for help.

Hospital volunteer, retired RAF pilot David Beveridge, leapt into action, ushering Ms Almey into a wheelchair while Mr Hurst called the lift to the maternity ward.
It was during the short lift journey that the 22-year-old from Sutton Bridge delivered 7lbs 9oz baby Esme without assistance.
“It all happened so fast," Ms Almey said.
"I was so nervous and worried, but I didn’t need to be – she’s just perfect.”
Mr Hurst added: “My priority was getting Charley to the maternity ward.
"I knew that’s where she had to be and there was nothing that was going to stop me.”
