A 40-year-old man has been charged with murder after another man died following an attack outside a pub.
Paramedics were called to an address in Dereham at 5am on Sunday, July 21 following reports a man in his 30s was unwell.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he died later that evening.
A post-mortem examination said the provisional cause of death was a traumatic head injury.
Norfolk police launched a murder investigation into the incident after becoming aware of a serious assault outside the Red Lion pub in the town on the evening of Saturday, July 20.

Tyrone Busch, of St Withburga Lane, Dereham, was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday evening at the Ploughshare pub in Beeston, near Dereham, and was taken to Wymondham police station where he remains.
He was charged with murder and has been remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday, July 26.
