An Attleborough woman has opened an organising and decluttering business as she looks to become the county's answer to Marie Kondo.

Casey Ward started the business called Calm Your Space to help people in Norfolk transform their homes after being inspired by the BBC television programme Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon.

The 28-year-old says she has always been a very organised person, even as a child.

"When we were stuck in the house all the time I was really conscious of my surroundings and how that was impacting me.

"I had a big declutter and organise and noticed how much better I felt afterwards.

"Shortly after that I saw Sort Your Life Out and Dilly Carter, the show's organising expert.

The training involved three months of intensive online workshops and practical experience.

Ms Ward's journey went full circle as she then had the opportunity to appear on Sort Your Life Out as a volunteer helper.

Like this show, organising and decluttering involves getting people's possessions and laying them out in categories, but on a much smaller and more manageable scale.

She offers a free 30-minute consultation before getting to work which can range from hours to weeks depending on the job.

The service costs £35 an hour for three hours or less, or £30 an hour for anything over three hours.

She is also listed on Dilly Carter's website declutterdollies.com as an approved organiser.

Ms Ward added: "There has been increasing research on the effect of clutter and how it can affect sleep, ability to focus, stress and anxiety.

"I love helping others and seeing the impact on them

"People don't always realise there is specific help out there and your home should be a stress-free sanctuary."
